* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome: The whole point of talking Nacho down from killing Tuco to just sending Tuco to prison was so that the Salamancas wouldn't come after him and Mike. Despite the reduced caper, the fact that Mike is a key cause of Tuco going to jail ''still'' put Mike on Hector Salamanca's radar, and when Mike turns down Hector's first deal offer, Hector responds in a way that is extremely predictable for a criminal of Hector's resources and ruthlessness: he sends a squad of his men over to Mike's house to either intimidate Mike into doing what they want, roughing him up until he agrees, or killing him. And despite Mike getting the better of this particular group of the Cartel's men fairly easily, ultimately Mike has to make a deal to keep himself and his family safe from their wrath. The alternative is that the Cartel will simply keep sending thugs, killers, and resources against Mike until they kill him and possibly everyone around him.

* VillainBall: When Mike arrives to meet with Hector, Nacho pats down Mike and finds a gun on him. Hector allows Mike to keep his gun since the Cousins were already in the room, but this allowed Mike to threaten him and allowed him to convince Hector to increase his offer.

* AllForNothing: The end result of Mike getting Tuco arrested. Not only has worse Salamancas replaced Tuco, he's now on their radar, had his family threatened, and has to face whatever punishment is served for the gun charge while Tuco's sentence is reduced.
