- Foreshadowing: At the start of the episode, a pair of Lewodans are shown looking for their child. This proves far more important to the plot than the viewer might be inclined to think.
- Karma Houdini Warranty: After escaping serious punishment for trying to destroy galactic communications for the Highbreed, unleashing a Xenocyte infestation on Arachnasimmia (albeit unwittingly) and trying to sell the Earth to Collectimus, Simian gets thwarted and arrested by the Plumbers here.
- Out-Gambitted: Not only is Argit aware of Simian’s attempted betrayal, but Ben was aware of what exactly Argit was selling and switched the package with a decoy.
- Unexplained Recovery: It’s not clear how Simian escaped from being carded by Collectimus.
