After watching a news broadcast, Beavis and Butt-Head think it's the apocalypse.
- Adam and Eve Plot: The boys attempt to "recopulate" with whom they assume to be the last woman on Earth, but she is repulsed by them and leaves soon after.
- The Bus Came Back: Harry Sachz, from the original series, returns as the man who owns the house Beavis and Butt-Head squat in.
- Call-Back:
- Butt-Head once again assumes after a broadcast is interrupted that Beavis changed the channel, something he also did in "Murder Site."
- This is the second episode to feature a collapsed freight train, with the first being "Tired."
- Cozy Catastrophe: Beavis and Butt-Head don't seem to care that they might be the last people on Earth or that all the chicks are dead; Beavis's only concern is to use every toilet in town.
- Laser-Guided Karma: When Beavis and Butt-Head attempt to vandalize Sachz's home, he savagely beats them up. They deserved it because they also broke into Stewart's home, a convenience store, and several other homes.
- Literal-Minded: The news report describes the situation as apocalyptic, which the duo misinterprets as meaning that the world actually ended.
- Mistaken for Apocalypse: The boys stay home during a gas leak and assume that the world ended, with them being the only survivors.
- Refuse to Rescue the Disliked: The female scientist abandons Beavis and Butt-Head due to being annoyed with their antics.Scientist: (through the walkie-talkie) I just found... no sign of stragglers.
- Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Butt-Head tells Beavis to go live somewhere else after they trash Stewart's house, but they change their tune after they spot an attractive female scientist.
- Shout-Out: Beavis and Butt-Head watch a Saw parody before it's interrupted by the news broadcast.
