- The Colored Cross: Averted. The nurse wears a hat with the standard red cross on it.
- Early-Installment Weirdness: Beavis wears a Slayer shirt instead of his trademark Metallica shirt (though he does wear the latter shirt in a few shots, as well as a music video segment).
- Larynx Dissonance: The nurse is obviously voiced by Mike Judge.
- Oh, Crap!: The nurse when she sees Beavis and Butt-Head losing too much blood while she called her ex-husband.
- Show Within a Show: The Intern, a fictional Arnold Schwarzenegger movie Beavis and Butt-Head try to see.
