Nightwing tries to keep Huntress happy on a stakeout, despite her complaints that the mission isn't as exciting as he promised. The solution? Do a "mooks-down" competition with the other's weapon.
This episode includes examples of the following tropes:
- Adaptational Modesty: Huntress wears pants.
- Big "YES!": Nightwing yells, "Yes!" when he talks Huntress into the game.
- Body-Count Competition: A presumably non-lethal variation; Nightwing proposes that he and Huntress swap weapons and see who can take out more bad guys with the other's signature items.
- Improbable Use of a Weapon: When Nightwing comments that he wishes the crossbow had an "up-close" mode, Huntress takes it back and uses the bow itself to whack a mook who's getting too close.
- Literal Metaphor: Huntress says she thinks Nightwing will shoot himself in the foot - literally - as a result of his proposal that they switch weapons for the mission.
- Meaningful Echo: Huntress comments that she wishes the escrima sticks could be used for ranged attacks. Nightwing says, "Allow me" and ricochets one off several objects to whack a mook in the head. Then Nightwing comments that he wishes the bow could be used for close-quarters combat, and Huntress takes it back and uses it to whack another mook upside the jaw, saying "Allow me."
- Nobody Calls Me "Chicken"!: Nightwing overcomes Huntress' reluctance by implying she's scared of losing.
- Purple Is Powerful: Huntress, a vigilante, wears an all-purple costume.
- Shock Stick: Nightwing's escrima sticks are equipped with tasers that can be activated by pressing a button. Huntress shocks one mook unconscious with them after Nightwing tells her how to activate them.
- Shout-Out: Nightwing asks Huntress, "Were you not entertained?"
- "Yes"/"No" Answer Interpretation: When Huntress shoots the lollipop he's offering off the stick, Nightwing takes it as a "no thanks" and comments that she could have just said that directly.
