The Avengers are captured by the Leader and are prepared to be executed. To save them from an all-new, all-different Cabal, Black Panther must assemble an all-new, all-different team of Avengers.

- And I Must Scream: Just before they're all zapped away, it turns out the Avengers had been conscious in their frozen state the whole time.
- Avengers Assemble: Black Panther calls up a new bunch of Avengers to free the regular Avengers. They don't succeed, but decide to remain on as a team anyway.
- Batman Can Breathe in Space: Captain Marvel's idea of relaxing on her day off is sunbathing and reading a book on a satellite in low orbit.
- Big Bad Wannabe: The Leader finds out the hard way his new Cabal are not remotely loyal to him, and without that, none of them have any reason to do what he wants.
- MacGyvering: T'Challa manages to rig up a working magnet powerful enough to lift trucks from random junk he purchases in an electronics store in a matter of minutes.
- Mythology Gag:
- Wasp's declaration of "it's about dang time" is taken from her film counterpart's declaration in the stinger of Ant-Man, just toned down for kids.
- The team's naming moment at the end of the episode is a direct riff on how the original Wasp coined the name of the Avengers in the comics.
- Not the Fall That Kills You…: T'Challa is able to cushion hurling out of the Leader's plane by using Arnim Zola as an unwilling crashpad.
- Party Scattering: The Avengers are sent to destinations unknown thanks to the Cabal rejigging the Leader's weapon.
- Remember the New Guy?: Ant-Man suddenly has a partner in the Wasp, an imported version of Hope van Dyne, who wasn't mentioned before.
- "Shaggy Dog" Story: The All-New Avengers fail to save the old Avengers, and with the Leader's device smashed there's no way of recovering Iron Man either. Not to mention the Avengers compound is completely destroyed.
- Villain: Exit, Stage Left: The Cabal, having successfully accomplished what they set out to do, escape effortlessly.
