Asura and Yasha have one final battle.
Tropes:
- Double Knockout: In the Flashback, Asura and Yasha knocked each other unconscious during their free-fall battle by the time they hit the ground.
- Flashback: Part of the episode flashes back to a time in their past when Asura and Yasha were training under Augus, Asura wanting to fight to see if he could protect his unborn daughter.
- Heroic Sacrifice: By the end of the battle, Asura sees the gaping wound in Yasha's chest, Yasha succumbing to his wounds after their harrowing battle, Yasha playing the Jerkass to get Asura to channel his mantra with the Mantra Reactor to help process it.
- Living on Borrowed Time: Yasha having given up his Mantra Reactor for an unconscious Asura decides to spend his last moments fighting with Asura to test his brother-in-laws' resolve to save Mithra and the world.
- Skewed Priorities: Even though Chakravartin is literally on the horizon, ready to destroy the world at any moment, Yasha decides that now is the time for them to settle their rivalry. Subverted at the end, when it is revealed that he was slowly dying, having given him his reserve of mantra while he was unconscious in the last episode.
