"There is another way. Cast me back into the dimension from which I came, and you get to live."

Ash: Pennzoil Platinum. Hello, baby. Little overdue for a valve job, but you're close.

Devastated by his father's death, Ash bitterly laments it and swears revenge on the possessed Delta. Pablo attempts to get into the car, and the seatbelts pull him in. The Classic tries to run over its owner, but he manages to roll away while the vehicle further mutilates Brock's corpse.

Ash approaches Chet and asks to borrow his car, to which Chet agrees as long as they go down to the "Mammary Lane", a local strip bar. Pablo and Lacey still try to get out of the car, while Ash starts a chase. Chet starts fighting for the wheel, but Ash lies that the "Mammary Lane" got closed and they need to go to another place.

Kelly and Ruby arrive at Ash's trailer and get armed, and the latter reveals more information about Baal and his ability to drive people insane. She's afraid that she won't be able to stop him, but Kelly tells her she's not alone anymore and she's got Ruby's back.

The Necronomicon taunts Pablo that their destinies are intertwined, and he has another hallucination about wearing its face. The car crashes, and Pablo ends up impaled on a steel beam while Lacey dies. Ash pulls it out of him and tells him to get into Chet's car's trunk, and Pablo notices his eyes briefly become blue, fearfully getting into it. He snaps out of his hallucination, and Lacey tells him Ash is following them, shooting at the Delta. Chet pulls his car's handbrake and demands explanation, and Ash reveals the truth, with his friend becoming really enthusiastic about killing demons. Ash tries to dissuade him, but Chet thinks the car may have gone to the Elk Grove Destruction Derby, the place where Brock had bought it. They arrive at the arena, where Ash locates the Classic.

Kelly and Ruby go to the crematorium where demonic children have been nesting, and the former gets attacked by one of them. The women start fighting back, and Ruby kills a child with the dagger, but as the other demons ambush her, she loses the weapon, making Kelly toss it to her.

Ash confronts his car and starts damaging with the chainsaw. As the doors open, Lacey manages to escape, but the book pounces at Pablo who tries to destroy it. It pleads for him to send it back to its home dimension, giving him its literal word. Ash ends up on the car's hood and starts bouncing on it, remembering his father's advice about rodeos. Pablo starts an incantation while Ash drives his chainsaw into the motor, destroying it and stopping the car. A portal opens in the Delta's trunk, and Pablo tosses the Necronomicon inside, while Ruby feels it's gone. Ash celebrates the victory, claiming that the Oldsmobile still can be fixed. But after they walk away, a flaming figure emerges from the trunk.

Tropes:

  • Bathos: Ash's wistful soliloquy about the nature of life is followed up by him trying to get his father's brain back into his shattered skull.
  • Bad Liar: Chet questions Ash about his chainsaw and boomstick, and he lies about being into ice sculpting with rather unconvincing acting. Luckily for him, Chet is drunk enough not to doubt him.
  • Impaled with Extreme Prejudice: Pablo gets a steel beam going through his chest in a hallucination.
  • Offing the Offspring: Ruby once again remorsefully kills her children, saddened at the loss.
