When Ono’s sister shows up at the shop it dredges up a lot of mixed emotions about his broken childhood home.
This episode provides examples of:
- Déjà Vu: Keiichiro has one of his mornings repeat. He wakes up from a nightmare, gets a shower, hears Chikage clamor about breakfast, tells Chikage that his insensitive behavior has done so much for him, which Chikage thanks him for.
- G-Rated Sex: When Ono was younger, he had seen his mother in bed with his homeroom teacher, whom he had a crush on. This led to him having a strained relationship with his mother.
- Of Corpse He's Alive: Subverted. While Keiichiro's son's body isn't there, the kidnapper still acts like he is alive.
- Verbal Backspace: Ono's sister reveals to him that his father has had affairs with other women. He almost reveals their mother's affair, but changes his mind.
