Meanwhile, the boy who landed the lead in the school's production of Little Shop of Horrors, Pierce, takes an interest in rehearsing with Taylor even though she only plays the minor role of "Plant Bud #3". Greg is immediately suspicious of his motives, even as Trip is (unsurprisingly) completely oblivious.
Meg Donnelly's Z-O-M-B-I-E-S (2018) co-star Milo Manheim makes the first of a string of guest appearances as Pierce.
