Stan decides to pursue his dream of building a line of holiday-themed teddy bears and hires a family of illegal immigrants to make them.

- Artistic License – Politics: The Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) was actually dissolved in 2003, and replaced with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
- Hypocrite: Hayley starts dating Paco in order to annoy Stan, but is willing to turn him and his entire family in to INS when he's too tired to go out with her.
- The Illegal: Paco and his family.
- Schedule Slip: In-universe, whenever Stan tries to build his holiday-themed bears, he's never quick enough to make them in time for the holiday.
- By the time he made his Christmas-themed bears, it's already Valentine's Day.
- By the time he made his Valentine's Day bears, it's now Saint Patrick's Day.
- He promises to finish the Mother's Day bears on time, but when he finishes them, Francine points out it's already June.
- Unfortunate Names: Stan calls his bears "Holiday Cele-Bear-Tions." Francine points out that the name sounds like a cross between "celibate" and "abortion," which he doesn't see.
- We Need a Distraction: After Steve and Paco's family finish singing, Stan throws his Fourth of July bears into the crowd, creating a frenzy as everyone tries to grab one and then drive off before INS can respond.
