Alfred, Ollie, Hannes, Wannes, Snel, and a few others join the sea scouts, who are training for a sailing race against Sparrowland. Professor Hannibal has invented a device to give them an edge in the race, but Igor the sparrow and Lispel the octopus have infiltrated their ship to sabotage it.

Tropes:
- Child Soldier: Igor isn't a soldier, but does work for Sparrowland military as a spy, and he's mentioned to be in the same age group as the Sea Scouts he's infiltrating, who are all children.
- Dirty Commies: Sparrowland, in some kind of a conflict with Waterland, hires a local octopus to spy on Sea Wolf, and sends their own agent to sabotage the ship to ensure their own victory.
- Furry Confusion: A non-anthropomorphic seagull sits on a paddle when the Sea Scouts are rowing a boat.
- Got Volunteered: While the sergeant thinks about who's going to climb to the mast first, everybody else flees (save for an elephant who tries to hide behind Alfred), resulting in Alfred getting picked.
- Hammerspace: Lispel comes out of the sea, but the letter and the radio he gives Igor, in addition to coming out of nowhere, look completely dry.
- Mildly Military: The Sea Scouts look very militaristic and involve things like waking up at sunrise, very physically demanding exercises, and army-style drilling.
- Wound That Will Not Heal: Dolf claims that his doctor said the wing he injured in episode 4 is never going to heal.
