Retsuko learns that Ton is working at a new job, and his daughters are concerned. She finds out why from an unexpected source.
Haida is encouraged to help the department with computer upgrades. However, not everyone is onboard with keeping up with the times. He soon gets a visit from Himuro which leads to the biggest change of his life.

- Bait-and-Switch Accusation: Following last episode, Himuro calls out Haida's performance, but not because he was lacking it. He believes he may be hiding his methods that should be shared with his coworkers to improve their own performance.
