- Continuity Nod: The newspaper Jake is reading at the start has a headline about "Massive Damages to Castle" and "Candy People at Fault", which seems to be a nod to "The Pajama War".
- Conveniently Interrupted Document: The last pages of the diary are torn off before we find out what happened on B.P.'s date with Justin. TV and Jake then try to find out what happened to them.
- Make-Out Point: Love Tree Point, so named because of the heart-shaped tree nearby, used to be a popular spot for young couples according to Jake.
- The Reveal: Jake and his son TV set out to find the identity of the mysterious "BP". They discover her full name was "Betsy Pound Cake" and she eventually took up medicine, meaning she's minor character Nurse Pound Cake.
