When this site opened, it claimed to be for, like, serious novelists as opposed to, like, FanFiction.Net or Fictionpress. This was for people who wanted to get published, and they were, like, every year we'll pick some books, and we'll publish them. I think it's owned by HarperCollins. I don't know at what point they gave up on that dream... but boy, did they!
