Do you remember blowing into the cartridge, pushing it up and down, only to get that stupid flickering LED light? This was due to a flaw on the original system. The pins on the cartridge slot gets caroled at times, causing the system not to read the cartridge. The NES 2 did not have the flickering screen problems like the original NES 1 did.
