There was this one dream...
A dream that changes everything, which i've seen to remember from some time ago. But... how?
I can't remember most of my dreams at all. And neither can anyone else.
But I was sure there was a dream that i actually remembered.
That one dream, where everything finally comes true...
-Opening Narration. Chapter 1
Klonoa: "Deep down... Deep down i knew i always wanted to be free. I tried to hold myself in, convince myself i live better off like this... But i can't do it anymore. I have ruined the bonds of the people who i care about the most. You, Huepow... and Lolo... I just... I just want to be broken free from these chains!!"
-Klonoa tearfully admitting to his friends he doesn't want to be a Dream Traveler anymore. Chapter 12
Joka: "...Too bad you weren't there to know the truth, Hue. Phantomile will never be the same again, starting from today... once i'm done with them all, you won't be the same either. My legacy starts here."
-Joka talking behind Tenebrae Hue's back just before his assault on all of Phantomile. Chapter 14
Huepow: "It's what friends do for each other, after all."
Klonoa: "No... friends don't go far enough to make a dream come true..."
Huepow: "Hm?"
Klonoa: "Best friends do."
-Klonoa to Huepow just before leaving Phantomile. Chapter 16
Sorrow: "I... I just cannot help but wonder... But... what about... my kingdom...?"
High Priestess: "Are you worrying about that now? The lives of multiple people are at stake... The peace of the kingdoms can't be ruined! We gotta protect them!"
Sorrow: "But... What about it? Will we just leave my kingdom there as it is?!"
High Priestess: "La-Lakoosha comes first. I just can't let it fall. We'll drive them off of that little island later! Why are you so worried about that place anyway?!"
Sorrow: "Because it is all that I have left from my past, mom!!!"
-Sorrow and the High Priestess arguing about whether to go and save the other kingdoms or to protect Hyuponia. Chapter 21
Lolo: "Ever since I got here, I have been called all sorts of names by the three of you, all while others watched. But in that time, you always labeled me as a failure... And I must ask, why is that? Is it because I have shown a lack of skill in the past? Is it because I may have been oversensitive to such harsh words when I was younger? Well, yeah… but more than anything, I took those words of yours to heart. Little did I realise, this all started because of the fact that the three of you are afraid of being outclassed by someone who you see as inferior. You three bully the weaker fellows that are still in training to try and discourage them from joining priestesshood altogether... and even now you come back at a full priestess, who you never thought would make it further up than you, and try to kick the person you used to look down upon in a futile attempt. It's so pathetic to see. Becoming a true priestess is all about helping those in need. Something you never understood, and never will... If anything, that makes all of you a failure."
-Lolo finally speaking up towards Shun, Glab and Celles, her childhood bullies. Chapter 22
Popka: "So... 'ya clothes magically changed? Who's causin' that, the fashion god?"
-Popka's response to Klonoa's story, comically missing the point. Chapter 23
