Savannah city police have been in consultation with police in Daytona Beach, Florida and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina after all three jurisdictions have reported disturbingly similar kidnapping incidents, all with female victims aged five to seven during a seven day period.
Parents of the victims report break-ins sometime after midnight. The kidnapper typically enters through a window, sometimes cutting the glass carefully — but in one case, breaking through reinforced shutters with incredible force.
