Ghosts on a Train is an ongoing actual-play rpg podcast using the Ghostlines system in John Harper's Blades in the Dark universe, first uploaded in 2020. It was soon after picked up by the Faustian Nonsense Network.

Linebulls Andrel, Drix, and Pip (Badge names Dunville, Colburn, and Mckeel) are employed by the Imperial Railway to protect their train "The Pride of Duskwall" against all manner of spooky specter that may seek to harm her or her passengers as they travel between the apparent safety of scattered cities.


Ghosts on a Train contains examples of:

  • After the End: Ghosts on a Train takes place in a world where the sun has burned out in the sky and the dead do not pass from the earth and pose a threat to humanity long after the passing of the age of magic. The setting is dark and hard, but life still manages to eek out an existence in protected cities and lands connected by the rail system.
