- Justified: Emperor Evulz likes Stinky Goblins. So unlike more experimental mooks who appear only in one game, they always stay on his ranks throughout the entire series.
- Inverted: People hated Stinky Goblins so much that they have been retconned out of the canon and haven’t appeared in any game since.

- Double Subverted: When the series gets rebooted, the Stinky Goblins become the official mascot.
- Parodied: Hiro ends on a “Stinky Goblin festival” in which balloons, costumes and prizes are all Goblin-themed.
- Zig Zagged:
- Averted:
- Enforced:
- The Stinky Goblins were created specifically to be the mascot of the series.
- Being a Creator's Pet, the Stinky Goblins nooks are forcibly made the mascot of the series, despite being massively hated by fans of Tales of Tropera.
