Basic Trope: Characters decide to take off their clothes during hot weather.
- Straight: Bob takes off his shirt on a hot day.
- Exaggerated: It's only about 75 degrees Fahrenheit outside, but Bob already decided to get completely naked.
- Downplayed: Bob takes off or unzips his jacket on a warm day.
- Justified:
- Bob had no access to any form of air conditioning or ways to cool himself down, so he's doing the next best thing.
- Bob comes from a society where there isn't nearly as much of a nudity taboo, and it's more acceptable to take off your clothes if it's too hot outside.
- Bob has the house to himself today and didn't feel like fiddling with the AC dial.
- Inverted: It gets cold outside, so Bob puts on more clothes.
- Subverted: It seems like Bob is taking off his shirt because it's too hot, but then he puts on another shirt.
- Double Subverted: The new shirt has thinner, more breathable material.
- Parodied: For some reason, Bob decides to get entirely naked before remembering he's in public. Alice tells him to Please Put Some Clothes On.
- Zig-Zagged: Sometimes Bob removes clothing when he's too hot, and sometimes he doesn't.
- Averted: Nobody takes off any clothing when it's too hot.
- Enforced:
- To show just how hot outside it really is.
- "Bob is the attractive character, right? Let's have him take off his clothes."
- Lampshaded: ???
- Invoked: ???
- Exploited: ???
- Defied:
- Bob is told to not take his clothes off.
- Rather than taking everything off, Bob asks if he can go somewhere where it's colder.
- Discussed: ???
- Conversed: ???
- Deconstructed: Bob ends up getting in trouble for public nudity (or at the very least embarrassing himself).
