Nightmare Fuel / The World is Still Beautiful

• Whenever Livius does his Slasher Smile, and basically any reminder that he was can is still sometimes a young narcissistic and ruthless king.
  • In particular, when Livius is threatening to lock Nike up and attack her country after accusing her of adultery with Bardouin. His facial expressions don't help.
  • The manga arc in the Chapter 40s-50s reveals some of Livi's dark past, specifically how he ruthlessly destroyed the Ice Country during the great war. When it's first brought up between him and Nike, his sinister side shows and he goes absolutely berserk over how he'll destroy Nike's loved ones if she ever leaves him and how badly he wants to kill the remaining Ice people and start another bloody war. And this is not very long after he "jokes" to Bard that he's not above destroying Nike's country, loved ones and possessions all so that he'll literally become her whole world. Nike, Neil, Bard and the servants are left terrified by his words.
• In the Rain Principality arc, the whole family and servants actually plan to drug both Nike and Livius to manipulate and separate them is this. Thankfully, Livius catches on to their plan quickly and avoids his spiked drink.
• In the Sand Kingdom arc, Prince Taishi and his brother actually deciding to lie to the Sun Kingdom saying Nike went missing from the sandstorm so that they can keep her for themselves is incredibly unsettling.
• In the Grand Duchy Arc, Duke Nephero outright sexually assaults Nike, it's so bad, chapter 93 comes with a trigger warning.
• In chapters 96-100, Nike's power is deliberately forced to go out of control, and not only does a massive thunderstorm start causing landslides to destroy the Grand Duchy, but the tower Nike is placed in starts spewing "demons" that take the form of thunderclouds riding along the ground. What's more, Nike's own rage is biding its time in the deep recesses of her mind, willing and eager to destroy the world... and doesn't know why!
