Nightmare Fuel / The Horror at Camp Jellyjam

• Buddy on the cover is the worst kind of Stepford Smiler, with a vacant grin.
• The scene where the trailer gets disconnected from the main car. Wendy and her brother freak out as they nearly get killed, on realizing no, their parents weren't driving that fast.
• During baseball practice, Wendy accidentally clonks Buddy in the stomach with a wooden baseball bat. She goes Oh, Crap! and expects Buddy to double over in pain. He responds by telling her to switch to aluminum. Even Wendy's roommates point out it's super weird.
• Wendy keeps asking the counselors if there are any updates on reaching their parents. She tries to dial them using the phones, only to realize they're all fake.
• The Reveal, all of it:
  • Wendy goes to investigate at night and finds out that Buddy is hypnotizing the counselors, as well as himself.
  • After she finds out King Jellyjam is not only real but also a slave foreman, one of the captured children tells the protagonist that if anyone stops to rest even for a second, that disgusting monster they're washing will pick them up and eat them. And that she's seen him eat three kids already!
  • It turns out the cops had checked in on the camp several times, to ask if they had found the kids. A hypnotized Buddy had lied and said no.
