- Kara was locked inside a rocket and trapped in a chunk of Kryptonite for thirty years until she finally crash-landed on Earth. To make matters worse, being exposed to Kryptonite for so long (even if it didn't kill her) poisoned her body, made her suffer erratic mood swings, and caused her to hallucinate her dad wanted her to kill her own cousin.
