* Jill’s tenacity. She is still probably the craziest Ghostface ever and she’s the first one we see alone after the reveal and the lengths she goes, injuring herself severely just to make it convincing. Then it doesn’t slow her down one bit when she finds out Sidney is alive. She sneaks into her cousins room and almost gets her. Even taking a detect shock to the head doesn’t stop her and Sidney has to shoot her directly in the heart to put her down for good. She just wouldn’t stop.

* While not intentional, Judy’s meeting with Sydney is a little off putting, mostly on account of the former looking cross eyed as she steps out of the shadows.

* Rebecca being attacked in a parking garage that's deserted. Definite ParanoiaFuel for how out in the open one can feel there, and how easy it would be for someone to ambush you.

* The bit with Kristen Bell and Anna Paquin in the opening, even if it's just part of a [[ShowWithinAShow Film Within a Film]]. The way that Kristen just stabs Anna in the gut, and then calmly tells her to sit down and watch the movie, is chilling. Since you expect the killer to be wearing the Ghostface mask and robes, it's a definite left hook. [[spoiler: This is later recreated when Charlie backstabs Kirby when she thinks she's won the trivia game and can rescue him safely.]]

* While not intentional, Wendy’s meeting with Sydney is a little off putting, mostly on account of the former looking cross eyed as she steps out of the shadows.

** Speaking of which, Jill is perhaps the most mental of all the Ghostfaces. A [[AxCrazy demented]] [[TheSociopath sociopath]] who causes so much death for even so much as a ''[[AttentionWhore second]]'' in the spotlight. She kills her own mother, her accomplice and everyone in her way, much of which ForTheEvulz, and also tries to go on another rampage out of ''[[VillainousBreakdown spite]]'' before she's killed.

** There's also the fact that Jill and Kirby have to watch from the window, knowing that it'll be too late even if they run to help. Of course Jill had reasons for not rushing to help but Kirby...

* Marnie's death, with the killer taunting her over the phone and the disappearance of Jenny. You think that since Jenny was the 'opening victim', Marnie has a chance of making it. But after being chased through her house, she too meets her gruesome end.
