- Su-min's mother gets possessed in the prologue. She screams and convulses violently while her eyes switch between black and white. Then there's how she dies: by having her neck snapped by the thing possessing her.
- Father Jeong stabs Woo-joo, and when his colleague questions him he starts screaming about a bloody cross. A flashback to his perspective of the stabbing shows a Woo-joo covered in blood and grinning while an invisible force knocks objects onto the floor.
- A blood-stained thing appears in Woo-joo's room and tries to strangle him. Then it possesses him and uses his body to wander around the hospital.
