- "The Sea Death" is an environmental disaster in which the oceans lose their wind and currents, attract terrifyingly-huge Sea Monsters, and eventually turn to sand, which results in a vast, lifeless desert. This is caused by the death of the Sea God.
- Syrrko's intention to abduct Verse to a laboratory, and perform cruel experiments on her.
- Fate's gruesome mutilation of Verse's eye.
- The Grambler: an armoured car-shaped robot armed with Gatling-guns & a massive Sawblade.
- Verse's disturbing visions & nightmares from Fate's eye in which she uncontrollably murders her friends.
- The extremely dangerous Grand Hornet, which young Verse & Camdyn have a very close encounter with. Who knows how much agony the two poor children would have been in for had they been stung...
- The Old Capital of Ammatga's fate, being devastated by falling debris from space was doomed to become a desolate ghost-town, now flooded by radioactive waste, and inhabited by ominous robots.
- Banaude inheriting the Gale the God of Lightning's powers while in a vegetative state (after Fiend almost murdered him), and unconsciously causing mass destruction with the palace of storms.
- Elian "Health and Wellness Camps": Despite their innocent sounding names, these are actually cruel conversion-therapy/ concentration camps, which Elians use to forcibly convert LGBT people and Magic users into adopting Elian values. Verse had to attend one when she was younger for crossdressing and homosexuality, and Fiend's entire village was forced to go for magic use.Verse: 'ow long were they forced to stay? Wos olways a month or two for me.Fiend: The ones that didn’t commit suicide are still there.
- Tefferyn's mutilated body parts being sucked through the void for a millennium after he fatally misused his time powers.
