Nightmare Fuel / Cycle of the Werewolf

• The way the wolf bursts into Arnie Westrum's shack, snarling in a way that sounds almost like human words. Then there's the description of how he only manages to get in one swing with his ice axe, followed by screams heard from outside.
• Stella opens her door for the wolf, thinking it's just a dream, before remembering Arnie Westrum's fate as the wolf approaches her.
• The description of a night of howls heard across town, followed by a drifter being found with his stomach torn open, his frozen stiff hands held up as if to push something away, and wolf tracks all around his body.
• The illustration of the werewolf approaching Brady Kincaid on its hind legs while grabbing at the kite he was flying. The text doesn't make it much better, with its description of Brady's growing terror as he realizes he's out after dark and hears the werewolf and the description they find his body in.
• Reverend Lowe's nightmare about his entire flock turning into werewolves while he preaches about the danger of the Beast, and then finding the church's janitor gutted on his pulpit the next morning.
• Alfie is just sitting in his diner when the one customer in there with him suddenly transforms and attacks him over the counter.
• The werewolf attacking Marty in his own backyard. Yes he survives, but it's really frightening how close it gets to him before he fends the wolf off with a firecracker.
• Constable Neary is dragged out of his car by the werewolf and has his face torn off.
• Pete Zinneman is starting to go to confront the werewolf when he hears it attacking his pigs outside only to freeze and retreat back to his room when he hears an almost human howl of triumph from it.
