* ''The Mighty Nein Reunion: Echoes of the Solstice'' shows just how nasty Trent Ikithon truly can be. After his escape from prison, the Nein find a bunch of messages left for them in a compromised vault of the Cobalt Soul archive, ending with an illusion of Caleb's old home in Blumenthal with the message "Dinner will be waiting." When the Nein arrive in Blumenthal, they find the homestead restored just as how it was in Caleb's memory. When they enter, Trent is sitting at the kitchen table ''with Caleb's parents''. It's one massive exercise in psychological torment, and even though Caleb is a lot better off mentally than he was before meeting the Nein, it's clear he is seconds away from losing it completely.
** Caleb's parents greet him warmly and start speaking to him like no time has passed at all, but an Insight check reveals that their reactions are slightly delayed, and their gazes are focused on a point in the distance. Jester whispers an apology to Caleb before casting Turn Undead, at which point Una and Leofric let out inhuman screeches of pure terror and start scrabbling away from her as fast as they can.
** FridgeHorror: Matt's narration reveals that that plot of land wasn't empty when Trent got there -- after the fire, the rubble was cleared away and another home was built in its place, with a new family inhabiting it. There's no word about what happened to that home or its occupants, but given Trent's history, it's unlikely to be pleasant.

* In the Campaign 2 wrapup, Matt explains what would have happened if Caleb and Essek's dunamancy ritual in Cognouza had failed. Not only would the Mighty Nein ''not'' have gotten a long rest before their fight with Lucien, but they would have been shunted forward in time by about a day, giving Lucien ample time to transport Cognouza to the Material Plane and start consuming Exandria. Thank ''god'' for Essek's natural 20.

* The ''VideoGame/BroForce'' episode of ''Travis Willingham's Yee-Haw Game Ranch'' begins with a disclaimer about "graphic puppet violence." It may make you laugh... until the evil warlock Bast'Alar summons an EldritchAbomination name Specimen.Exe that violently and bloodily rips of T.N.Tina's head. Travis and Brian have a freak-out, especially after Tina's head (complete with trailing viscera) is hurled at them. Meanwhile, Tina's headless corpse twitches next to Bast'Alar as he gloats over his victory.

Fridge Horror is different from Nightmare Fuel, see E To K. Also fix a nearby bad Example Indentation In Trope Lists and chained Sinkholes.

* The surprise attack conducted by [[CrusadingWidower Sylas Briarwood]] during the Dalen's Closet oneshot certainly counts, particularly to Percy and Vex. They, and the majority of their friends and guests, are knocked unconscious by [[TamperingWithFoodAndDrink the wine they received as a wedding present and serving at their reception]], kidnapped by Sylas, wake up chained wrists and ankles on the edge of a cliff, looking up at their old enemy who then proceeds to throw them off the cliff and into the ocean, leaving them to struggle to get out of their chains before they drown. [[FridgeHorror Oh, and through all of this, their months old baby is left unguarded]].

* In the Campaign Wrap-Up, Matt reveals what would have happened if Marisha hadn't rolled a Natural 20 when Keyleth put her hand in the Siphon under Whitestone. The DC on the roll was 18, so a Natural 20 was pretty close to what she needed. Failing would've resulted in Keyleth being sucked through the Siphon into The Shadowfell, taking an average of ''150 points of damage'', more than enough to kill her at that point. This is made even worse for two reasons: firstly, Keyleth had snuck away from the rest of the party to do this, so Matt says he would've had to explain to the players "Keyleth is gone, and you don't know where she went." The others would've been none the wiser that she was dead, and right after their victory against the Briawoods at that. But even worse, when Vox Machina arrived at the Shadowfell... '''they would have had to fight an undead Keyleth.'''
