Her fellow ComicBook/BirdsOfPrey field agent [[ComicBook/{{Huntress}} Helena Bertinelli]] is an [[GirlyGirlWithATomboyStreak inversion of this mould]].

* Comicbook/TheInhumans' queen ComicBook/{{Medusa|MarvelComics}} was introduced this way. One of the most fearsome warriors of Attilan, but she loved the flowers that grew in the Himalayas where Attilan was originally located.
* In ''ComicBook/MyLittlePonyMicroSeries'' Issue #2 Rainbow Dash's vision of a CoolBike includes "streamers and a boss pink basket on the front".
* When [[ComicBook/WonderWoman1987 introduced]] ComicBook/WonderGirl Cassie was a tomboy who wore baggy clothes and kept her hair cropped short, but she was interested in some stereotypical teenage girly things especially her taste in music. Her reviled ComicBook/TeenTitans incarnation dropped all the tomboy elements to make her a vapid girly girl who was completely obsessed with her boyfriend.
* Franchise/WonderWoman in later continuities invokes this. On one hand, she happily decapitates monsters and [[BloodKnight loves]] showing off her Amazon strength in battle. On the other hand, however, she adores children, likes wearing fancy dresses, is actually a very good secretary, and often plays TeamMom to her teammates.

During Jean and Scott's wedding, Rogue excitedly used her {{Flight}} to catch the bridal bouquet in mid-air before the rest of the X-Women could even react.
** ComicBook/{{Jubilee|MarvelComics}} is even more tomboyish than Rogue but she's more girly than she lets on, having some ACupAngst, and is pretty fashion conscious. ComicBook/{{Storm|MarvelComics}} notes amused that despite her being bored at the wedding Jubilee was still ''suspiciously'' quick to line up for the aforementioned bouquet throwing and was very ticked off when Rogue "cheated".
** ComicBook/{{X 23}}'s younger sister [[ComicBook/AllNewWolverine Gabby]]. She's a trained killer equipped with body armor...which she decorates with flowers and hearts.

* Gina from ''ComicStrip/DennisTheMenaceUS'' shares similar interests with Dennis since she loves sports, but she also has long hair and usually wears a dress. When Dennis introduces her to a new kid in the neighborhood, he comments, "She doesn't look like a tomboy to me." [[IResembleThatRemark She then slugged Dennis for calling her a tomboy.]]

* ''WesternAnimation/DespicableMe'': Edith is interested in Gru's cool high-tech gadgets, thinks its cool that her bed is a hollowed-out bomb, was excited about Gru shaping her pancakes like a "dead guy", is violent to grown-ups she doesn't like and has a generally gross sense of humor. However, she is in the same ballet class as her sisters and is always seen wearing pink (and almost nothing else), especially her pink sherpa hat.

But when she logs into ''Alfheim Online'' it's to [[TheRoleplayer roleplay]] (badly) as [[DamselInDistress "Princess Leafa,"]] and she's more worried that her brother will find out she once baked her [[SheIsNotMyGirlfriend "friend"]] Shinichi some cupcakes than she is that he'll learn what she and Shinichi have been up to in the school supply closet. Suguha suffers from InternalizedCategorism over her affection for "girly shit," to the extent that she assumes her brother's entered ''ALO'' solely to mock her for playing a game about fairies, which Yui speculates is due to some [[FreudianExcuse traumatic childhood event]] that made Suguha hate her own femininity as a sign of weakness.

* ''WesternAnimation/BatmanBadBlood'': Kate Kane/Batwoman is a superhero and former military cadet who sometimes wears a leather jacket when she's not fighting crime. She also enjoys sketching and has a set of pink shopping bags and lots of [[PinkMeansFeminine pink]] and [[GracefulLadiesLikePurple purple clothes]].

* The ''Franchise/HarryPotter'' fanfic ''Fanfic/WeasleyGirl'' depicts an AlternateUniverse in which [[GenderFlip Ron Weasley was born a girl]]. * Ami from ''VideoGame/CrashTeamRacingNitroFueled'' is a very athletic and competitive racer, with high-speed stats, who likes to flex her muscles whenever she wins, but also wears a dress and makeup. Her girly side is further highlighted in her Circus skin, which gives her a very feminine-looking outfit and has her elegantly strut around and [[MythologyGag twirl her umbrella]] in the winning podium animation.
* ''{{VideoGame/Cyberpunk 2077}}'': Panam Palmer is a nomad and badass smuggler who drives and fixes cars, dodges corpsec drones, shoots bandits, and knocks back Broseph beers with the best of them, but also wears very high-maintenance make-up and long, immaculate nails, and styles her hair in an elaborate bun.
* Cassandra from ''VideoGame/DragonAgeInquisition''. She's a GadgeteerGenius whose follower perk lets you make certain things without the assistance of a workbench, as well as a proficient martial artist who favors a PowerFist as her weapon of choice. She also really wants to own a formal dress. If you give her one of the fanciest ones in the game, she'll teach you a secret martial arts technique to show her gratitude.

** Understated with ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyIII'''s Refia. She's the adoptive daughter of a blacksmith and has no problem with fighting, traveling, etc. But there is a bit of frill in her outfit and she sports a pair of earrings, plus she readily befriends girly-girl Salina and sympathizes with her boyfriend trouble.
** All three girls in both the original ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyVII'' and the ''[[VideoGame/FinalFantasyVIIRemake Remake]]'', four girls if you count Jessie, in different ways. Aeris (Aerith), the most feminine in terms of physical appearance, has a girly outfit, loves flowers and fights using the conventionally feminine setup (in ''Final Fantasy'' [[MythologyGag mythology]]) of a staff and White Magic, but she wears big boots, has a pushy and fearless personality, takes the lead when flirting and talks in tough-girl, tomboyish slang in the Japanese version; however, she also has a terrifying fear of being abandoned and left alone. Tifa, who is relatively centrist on the {{Tomboy}} - GirlyGirl spectrum in comparison to the other two girls in terms of both appearance and personality, is an ass-kicking martial artist in minimalist clothing, but her personality is defined by her loyalty, supportiveness, [[ShrinkingViolet shyness]], empathy, and general 'quiet inner strength', as well as her desire for Cloud to rescue her someday. Yuffie, the most tomboyish, is a loudmouthed, fast-talking thief with a hugely inflated opinion of herself, but she talks in girly-girl-style ValleyGirl slang and is less brave than the other girls, often looking to Cloud to comfort her when she gets panicked or upset. ** ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyX2'' Paine is the most tomboyish of the three girls - with BoyishShortHair and an aggressive personality. However, a few of her Dressphere outfits are quite feminine (Songstress, Black Mage, Lady Luck, White Mage) and she enjoys giggling about boys with Rikku once or twice. Also, when the party is wondering whether it's really right for them to take a relaxing dip in a hot spring on sacred Mt. Gagazet grounds, she's the one who comments "No one's looking."
* ''Franchise/FireEmblem'' has many female characters of all kinds, so more than one of these girly tomboys show up:
** In the remake of ''VideoGame/FireEmblemMysteryOfTheEmblem'', Princess Sheena is a badass General... and has a doll collection.

** In ''VideoGame/FireEmblemEchoesShadowsOfValentia'', the mage Mae has pink hair and wears a predominantly pink and red dress, but is also very boisterous and likes to brag about her abilities on the battlefield. She discusses this with Celica, wondering if [[NoGuyWantsAnAmazon guys won't see her as a prospect girlfriend]].

** Claire Redfield. On one hand, she is a motorcycle enthusiast, a skilled fighter and markswoman, and fond of denim. On the other, she is scared of bugs (particularly giant mutated ones) and Hunters, [[MamaBear great with kids]] and fond of pink. Claire seems even more tomboyish in ''VideoGame/ResidentEvil2Remake'' since she not only dresses [[AdaptationalModesty practically]] in this version but she also swears like a sailor, rages out at those who cross her, and is generally sarcastic to most people she meets. On the flip-side, remake Claire always wears a necklace, dotes on Sherry, does a GirlyRun towards [[ChickMagnet Leon]], and then proceeds to playfully flirt with him through a fence. Claire also is more audibly grossed out than Leon at discovering the cockroaches in the morgue.
** Jill Valentine is mostly a practical ActionGirl, but ''VideoGame/ResidentEvil3Nemesis'' shows in her off-time she happily ditches the pouched combat gear for a tube top and short skirt.
* ''VideoGame/ShiningResonance'': The people of Astoria think Sonia is masculine because she's a knight and because of her strength. However, Sonia explains that she's only carrying out her duties as Astoria's princess, and attributes her strength to Captain Burrough's regimen. Otherwise, she's actually quite feminine; including owning lavish ballroom gowns, she's had dancing lessons for formal occasions, and also enjoys reading romance novels in her spare time. The reason most don't get to see that side of her is that she's almost always on active duty.

* In ''VideoGame/SoulcaliburVI'', Seong Mi-na wears a bright pink outfit with flowers and also has a complex and feminine braid. She also preferred playing with a weapon over dolls when she was younger.
* Most tomboys in ''Franchise/StreetFighter'' fall under this rule. Characters who are supposed to be the tomboy half to girly girls such as Cammy and Sakura wear dresses or skirts in at least a willing capacity. The only pure "Tomboy" character is probably Makoto, who is the Tomboy to probably the second most Girly character in the series Ibuki. Makoto only wears one feminine outfit which is her schoolgirl outfit but it has some battle damage and her legs have some wraps and her face has a bandaid making it arguably less feminine than Ibuki and Sakura's. Makoto's other outfits can make her gender ambiguous.

** While Sheena's very tomboyish, she actually likes cooking and wears pink accessories in her outfit, plus she's seen sniffing a vase of flowers when the party stays in Zelos' mansion.

Tomboys such as Nina Williams and Asuka Kazama have some very girly-looking dresses or 1 piece suits that rival the outfits of their girly-girl counterparts Anna Williams and Lili respectively. Leo is the only "true" tomboy, that is if you want to consider Leo female since according to the developers, Leo's gender is up to the player to decide, since their default outfit makes them gender-ambiguous (even more than SF's Makoto) while ''Tekken Tag Tournament 2'' gives them both male and female customization options.
* ''VideoGame/ScarletNexus'': One of the two protagonists Kasane is cold and aloof with BrutalHonesty, with this contrasting to her sister Naomi in a TomboyAndGirlyGirl dynamic… But the gifts Kasane loves in the Yuito route are flowers and love poetry. Ostensibly because those are things her sister likes.
* Marina Wulfstan from ''VideoGame/ValkyriaChronicles'' is a cold, aloof hunter with short hair and an athletic build who considers her most important interpersonal relationship to be with her rifle. She actually performs better when alone and worse when with the company - and she has such a soft spot for cuddly animals that in one of the DLC's ''she gets her entire squad into serious trouble chasing one.'' She ends up being the primary caretaker of Squad 7's mascot, a little piglet... but otherwise, remains completely the exact same person.
* ''VideoGame/TheWalkingDead'': [[PlayerCharacter Clementine]] is described as [[OutdoorsyGal "preferring to play in her treehouse rather than with dolls"]] in season one. She wears a dress and a baseball cap as her outfit. She spends most of her time drawing, but will also happily lick a salt lick for cows she and her friend Duck found in a barn. In [[VideoGame/TheWalkingDeadSeasonFour season four]] she can reminisce about how she used to imagine she's a warrior princess before the ZombieApocalypse broke out, noting that she was a "cool" princess, who got to wear a fancy dress and fight bad guys with a sword. Future seasons force her to lean slightly more into her tomboyishness (mostly due to logistics of the setting), keeping her hair short, wearing practical clothes, and fighting zombies, but her favorite color is still [[PurpleIsPowerful purple]], she immediately bonds with baby [=AJ=] and acts adorably awkward around people she has a crush on.
