* A benign example in ''VideoGame/{{Othercide}}'', the Mother is the WorldsBestWarrior and a ChosenOne. Unfortunately she fails to save the world one last time and gets killed. Because of her PsychicLink to an benign EldritchAbomination, she becomes the ghostly Red Mother, who generates a small army of Daughters who are fighting to save the world from the [[EldritchAbomination Suffering]].

* Andre in ''VideoGame/Rayman3HoodlumHavoc'' is this to the other black lums, only distinguishable from his successors in that while they don't have arms, he does. [[spoiler: As for Andre's own creation, let's just say Rayman's hands wandered off one night and did a scary shadow puppet show in front of a red lum...]]

* In ''VideoGame/StubbsTheZombie'' you play as a recently-reanimated zombie who quickly creates an outbreak in a retro-futuristic city. ** Originating from ''ComicBook/TalesOfTheJedi'', King Adas was TheChosenOne for the Sith species and united their homeworld of Korriban into a PlanetaryNation before dying in a HeroicSacrifice protecting the planet from the [[AbusivePrecursors Infinite Empire]]. Using Rakatan technology he made the first Sith holocron, with his legacy inspiring the Dark Jedi founders of the Sith Order and their Chosen One prophecy being named after him.
** Darth Andeddu from ''ComicBook/StarWarsRepublic'' was believed to have been the one who coined the "Darth" title, and his legacy inspired many successors including Freedon Nadd, Darth Bane, Darth Tyranus/Count Dooku, and finally [[ComicBook/StarWarsLegacy Darth Krayt]]. His influence was so fearsome, the Jedi even tried to {{unperson}} him to prevent him from causing even more damage from beyond the grave.

She's been around for centuries, has none of the classic weaknesses of vampires, was not bitten by another vampire, but transformed [[spoiler: in an experiment by the Lifemaker]], is capable of transforming people into her type of vampire, and has been identified as being of a specific race of vampire.

** Alexander Corvinus is the progenitor of all immortals, but he chooses to live like a normal human and displays no power outside of immortality, [[ComesGreatResponsibility which gets him chewed out by Selene]]. Drinking his blood does give [[spoiler:Selene]] enhanced strength, endurance, [[spoiler:and resistance to sunlight]].
