It's important to note that verbal ornaments like "It's important to note that" are Word Cruft that can be safely discarded.

It's important to note that, with tabletop games, particularly creative players can homebrew their own giant monster battles using mechanics the game systems already have in place, but the results tend to vary. The entries listed here have the concept as a central part of their design.

While short-lived, I had a D&D 5e fight with a kraken where the DM enlarged my Monk to kaiju proportions to chase it off. Making it work required homebrew and no small part of prep on part of the DM. I added the note as it was because, if we listed every homebrew possibility, the page would grow bigger than any kaiju and overload the servers.

** ''Film/GodzillaXKongTheNewEmpire'' possibly contains the most monster fights of any film in the entire Godzilla or King Kong franchise. It starts with a BatmanColdOpen with Kong fending off a pack of hyena-like Wart Dogs, and Godzilla fighting Scylla, and over the course of the movie, Godzilla fights the serpent-like Tiamat, Kong fights several of [[BigBad Skar King]]'s ape minions, an eel-like lake monster, and Skar King himself, before he's defeated by Skar King's muscle, an ice reptile known as Shimo. The Kong and Godzilla have another rematch, before [[spoiler:Mothra breaks up the conflict, and all three monsters, along with the ape child Suko, fight against Skar King, his army, and Shimo in the climactic battle.]]
