* The Japanese series ''Series/UtsukushiiKare'' ("'My Beautiful Man''") has a rare inversion: Kiyoi, one of the main characters along with his love interest Hira, is played by Yusei Yagi, a BoyBand member with little prior experience in acting. What won him the role was the fact he had the looks to be convincing as the "beautiful man" of the title and justify Hira's LoveAtFirstSight obsession with Kiyoi. The series proved to be a BreakOutRole for him, and he went on to have appearances in other TV shows and films.
