Summer Sons is a 2021 southern gothic novel by Lee Mandelo. It centers around Andrew, a grad student who comes back to Nashville to find out the truth about his best friend Eddie's suicide, while being haunted by Eddie's ghost. Andrew discovers the secrets Eddie hid from him, in between academia and car racing.
