Another night they have a celebration and drink the nectar of the flower. Once back at Bella's house, they are changing clothes and as they change, they transform into boys. The boy-girls head home and while resting in the woods transform back into girls.

Back at school, the girls find they have a new-found confidence. Bella is able to flirt with a cashier and get him to let her buy beer. Kim manages to beat Jesper at rope-climbing, while Momo is able to stand up to Jesper in the locker room, daring him to hit her. When the gym teacher arrives to intervene, Momo admonishes her for taking so long to react to all the bullying. On Wednesday, once again transformed into boys, they go to the warehouse and party with Tony's group. They are offered marijuana. Boy-Kim manages it, but Boy-Bella coughs, inviting teasing. Sometime later, back to being a girl, Kim confesses to Momo that she has a zipper and if she could only be brave enough to pull it, a new body could be freed from her female form forever. Momo asks Kim to never leave her. Over the days, Kim, Momo, and Bella, manage to get Jesper and his boys to stop harrassing them. Momo and Bella, simply accept their new-found confidence as girls, while Kim still wants to transform into boy-Kim and spend time with Tony. Momo admits she loves Kim and tries to figure out if Kim is more into a gay relationship with Tony or a straight relationship. Kim doesn't know. Kim patches things up with Bella and Momo and promises to let the flower recover. However, she is addicted and can't help but take the nectar again.

Boy-Kim meets up with Tony again and attempts to kiss Tony, causing Tony to punch Kim, and threaten to burn her alive. Boy-Kim flees, and meets boy-Momo, who is willing to be a boy for Kim if that is what Kim wants. Boy-Kim runs off, with boy-Momo following. Boy-Kim arrives at the warehouse where Tony trying to rape a girl. Boy-Kim is enraged and kicks Tony over and over, severely injuring him as the girl he was raping runs off. Boy-Momo arrives and stops Boy-Kim before Tony is killed. Boy-Momo continues professing her feelings for Kim. Furious when rejected, girl-Momo burns down Bella's greenhouse destroying the flower with it. Kim is devastated. She packs a bag, leaves notes for her mother and Momo.
