2000 novel by Harold Coyle (of Team Yankee fame). Set in a near future Slovakia that has been taken over by a genocidal regime intent on exterminating the country's Hungarian minority, NATO peacekeepers from the U.S. are caught in the middle.
God's Children provides examples of:
- Teen Drama: Unintentional example, a large part of the book is basically about an almost Young Adult Fiction-like antagonistic dynamic between an experienced young soldier and his young commanding officer that feels almost like DeGrasse: Army Edition.
- Zee Rust: The story's premise is a bit outdated as Land Warrior (featured prominently in the story) was scrapped and Slovakia joined NATO shortly after the book came out.
