* In ''ComicBook/TheLegendOfKorraRuinsOfTheEmpire'', Mako/Wu may have been taken to [[spoiler:light ShipTease levels. They start off with their usual Ho Yay situations like Wu fainting into Mako's arms in one side of a panel as President Moon does damage control, but much later when Mako and Bolin are finally both de-brainwashed, there's essentially a teasy panel where Opal jumps to hug Bolin, and Wu's the one who does the same to Mako, exclaiming "I got my brain back!" (referring to Mako) as he does]].

* Varrick designs a costume for Bolin when he becomes the star in his Nuktuk propaganda series. And what costume would be best for a warrior in freezing cold temperatures? Why, basically just underwear, of course! Bolin even comments that it seems like a strange decision.

The page is being cut per TRS.

* The fact that [[spoiler: Korra has been confirmed to be [[BiTheWay canonically bisexual]], as she begins dating Asami at the end of the series, lends an extra level to much of her moments of homoeroticism, since she could very easily be attracted to the women in question.]]

* As Suyin is pulling out the [[spoiler: mercury]] from Korra, the camera lingers on a few people watching with worry, like Mako, Asami and the others. But compared to Mako, Asami looks so stricken with worry that she seems close to tears.
** Later in the episode when Asami helps Korra get dressed for Jinora's ceremony, she gently holds her hand, kneels down to her eye level and tells Korra that she's there for her if she wants to talk about anything. [[spoiler: In the Turf War comics, Korra tells Asami that it was around this time that she began to develop feelings for her]].
* During her rehabilitation, Korra only writes letters to Asami, telling her not to tell Mako or Bolin because she didn't want to hurt their feelings, but she was the only one she could really talk to.
** When Korra prepares to leave Republic City, Asami offers to join her. She has Future Industries, a ''huge'' company to run, but she would rather go to the Southern water tribe to be able to watch over Korra.
* Asami can be seen reading in the park, and then looks up to a small statue of Korra, smiling sadly.
* As Korra creates an air barrier for the others to jump off of the train, she can be seen [[FreezeFrameBonus wrapping her arm around Asami's waist]] and Asami quickly grabs onto her.
** Also, when the two reunite, Asami compliments Korra's haircut, to which she replies with a grin and a [[CrushBlush luminescent blush]].
* As Korra contemplates what to do in a gazebo, Asami approaches her with some tea. Not romantic enough? The sky behind them is the color purple.
