  • Dreyman's dedication in his book Sonata for a Good Man after finding the Stasi files on him and seeing what Wiesler, whom he knows only as "HGW XX/7", did to protect him in spite of orders from his superiors. When Wiesler sees the dedication, he knows it refers to him.
