Beautiful Creatures
- Ethan and Link constantly defending Lena after they befriend her. Especially Link, whose mother is leading the witch-hunt against Lena.
- Ethan's love for Lena is so strong that he saves her twice from Sarafine when no one else is able to help her.
- During the winter formal, Ridley completely trashes it after Savannah Snow and her friends humiliated Lena by ruining her and Ethan's photoshoot. Even though it wasn't a good thing to do, it's heartwarming to see her caring so much about Lena despite now being Dark.
- Link being worried for his mother once it's revealed that Sarafine has been using her like a meat puppet. Despite all her flaws, Mrs Lincoln is still his mother and he doesn't want her to be injured or dead.
- Macon and Lena's relationship. There may be a rift growing between them, but they still love each other dearly.
- Despite all the conflict that has happened between them, Lena is devastated when she discovers that the person who was sacrificed in Ethan's place was Macon.
- Macon trying to help Lena fight off Sarafine. Even though it doesn't work, it's really sweet to see him being so encouraging and gentle, especially since this is not long after his fight with Lena.
- When the DAR put Lena on trial in an attempt to drive her out of Gatlin, Macon comes out before sundown for the first time to defend her. Marian helps him, despite not knowing Lena for very long, because she knows it's the right thing to do.
- The revelation that Ethan's mother has been helping Ethan and Lena from beyond the grave.
- During the climax, Sarafine and Hunting attacking and injuring Macon is enough for Lena to reject their offer completely.
Beautiful Darkness
- The reveal that Lena broke up with Ethan to protect him from herself.
- Ethan goes all the way to the Great Barrier because he still loves Lena and wants to help her despite her having broken his heart earlier in the book. Not to mention, Liv caring enough to get involved in the quest even though she shouldn't, Link caring enough about Ethan to go with him, and Ridley caring enough about Lena to help the gang save Lena from Abraham and Sarafine.
- Lena's reaction to seeing Macon alive at the Great Barrier. Also doubles as a tearjerker moment.
- Even after her death, Ethan's mother still loved Macon enough that she saved him from dying.
Beautiful Redemption
- When Ridley reunites with her family in Ravenwood, sweet, pure-hearted Ryan is the first one who immediately and unconditionally accepts her back.
- Lena and Ridley reconciling for good is pretty heartwarming, since they began the series with a rocky relationship.
