Heartwarming / Steal the Truth, Reach Out For Your Heart

• Adult life has thrown its curveballs, but the Investigation Team remains close — so close that when Yu is ready to propose to Rise, he brings in Yosuke, Chie, Yukiko, Kanji, and Nanako to get their opinions on choosing a ring. He would probably have asked Naoto, too, if they weren't Amicable Exes.
  • Yu's relationship with Naoto still counts, even though it didn't work out. It's a mark of their love and respect for one another that they're able to talk civilly at all.
• Dojima being Happily Married to his second wife, Kaho, who loves Nanako like her own daughter.
• When Ann is freaking out about being in love with Shiho, Nanako brings in Kanji to help talk her through her conflicted feelings about sexual orientation. It's adorable, and it works.
  • The actual confession moment that proves Shiho has been pining for Ann too.
• Speaking of Kanji, there's his Badass Crafting You Tube channel, which brings him modest fame and a good living — and even more importantly, has finally helped him get his public image in line with his true feelings. He's achieved the perfect balance of toughness and kindness, and is openly bisexual.
• Too many moments to count in Nanako's relationship with Ren, but their impromptu ferris wheel date and their dance in Leblanc stand out. He also panics every time she gets hurt, and becomes cutely flustered whenever she looks good in a new costume.
• Ryuji is adorably close with his mother (who only sort of spoils the moment by constantly encouraging him to hit on Nanako).
• Mitsuru being a Shipper on Deck for Akihiko and Chie, since Kotone would never have wanted him to spend his whole life alone.
  • Mitsuru being Happily Married to Yukari, which doubles as evidence that Ann and Shiho might be able to make it work.
  • From what little we see of Kotone herself, she doesn't appear to have any problem with Akihiko falling in love again, as long as he's safe.
• The happy resolution of the leather shop Love Dodecahedron.
• Rise's Character Development. She's clearly still in love with being an idol and has no difficulty reconciling the various parts of herself. She even laughs off the crew seeing her naked during costume changes, in a nod to her acceptance of her shadow in Persona 4. She's also worked through the jealousy issues that ended her first relationship with Yu — she still gets possessive urges, but can now identify and divert them so they don't become harmful.
