• The Tale Of Glitterbeard. A quest designed in the memory of James White, a data analyst for Rare who passed away in 2020. Gathering 8 players to play "Beclaimed" at a certain island during sundown triggers a lovely glowing tree and the actual sung version of the song. Which then unlocks a secret chamber in memory of Glitterbeard.
• After helping to defend the Sea of Thieves against Davy Jones and the Dark Brethren, the Ferryman rewards some of the ghosts we've come to know and love over the course of the story a second chance at life. Pendragon and Slate remain spirits, but Rose and George are finally given their happy ending and brought back to life, where they decide join Jack Sparrow aboard the Black Pearl as they return to their home world. It's a happy tearjerker to hear the crew sing "A Pirates Life For Me" all together as the Pearl sails off into the horizon and vanishes into a brilliant golden spray
