Heart Warming / Planes: Fire & Rescue

• The very first minute of the movie has a dedication to firefighters world-wide, all for their service in helping and saving others. It's something that some can feel is a greatly under-appreciated service and having such an expression of gratitude is rather hard to come by.
• Dusty, having never been to Piston Peak, helps an elderly couple find the place where they shared their first kiss, and then buys them drinks to help them celebrate. He is given a solid reminder to just what his new job really is, to serve the cars and planes around him.
• After Dusty admits his disability to Blade, instead of asking him why he didn't tell him about this, Blade silently looks at him, showing that he understands and gives him encouragement to still become a firefighter.
• At the end, after Maru builds a "better than new" custom gearbox for Dusty, the former crop duster not only gets his certification, but is also able to push his engine so he can achieve his racing speed again!
