• We don't see all that much of Miranda and Sara's Pseudo-Romantic Friendship, but what's there is very sweet.
  Miranda: Someday, Sara, you shall have to come home with me to the station, to Queensland, and meet my sweet, funny family for yourself. Would you like that?

  • At the picnic Edith tells everyone that Sara writes love poetry about Miranda, and Miranda defends her.
• Michael and Albert becoming friends despite their hugely different social backgrounds.
  "Mike's all right," Albert told his friend the cook. "Him and me are mates." And so in the finest sense of that much abused word, they were.
• Minnie the housemaid sitting up with Sara in the middle of the night and holding her hand.
• In the series, some girls slut-shame Irma in French class after seeing a letter from her mother criticizing her for her stepfather making a move on her. Miranda and Marion stand up for her and comfort her, and Miranda deliberately mispronounces the French for "slut" as "scallop" to make her laugh.
