- At the end of the film, they reveal that Orion is a grandfather. The three timelines and generations come together with a pan down to reveal the young Orion at the planetarium, next to the girl who will become Hypatia's mother. It's a beautiful ending to the film because we know that overcoming this initial fear will lead Orion to raise a wonderful family in the future.
- The other Night Entities sincerely compliment Dark by the movie's end, showing that they realize that darkness is important. Especially when Sweet Dreams, who dismissed Dark at first, admits she admires his work.Sweet Dreams: And I admire yours, too.Dark: Oh… [soft chuckle] Wow.
