* Shuu's arc in the spotlight, where he [[spoiler: has to deal with his unrequited feelings for Kyoko (their teacher). Shuu had decided to not trouble her with a confession. However, after some advice from Tsugumi, Raku literally kicks Shuu's ass into confessing, remarking that "even the most thick-headed person can tell that your having no regrets is a lie".]] Raku even treats Shuu to that meal he promised him afterwards! What a bro.
* The resolution of the Chapter where Chitoge loses her ribbon. Not just Raku retrieving her ribbon and Chitoge hugging him in thanks, but [[spoiler: Chitoge actually had the replacement ribbon that Raku had bought for her sewn back together as a keepsake of what Raku did for her.]]
* Chapter 98: Onodera's reason for going to Bonyari High: [[spoiler: Raku. She considers it an impure motive for picking a school, but went through with it because being able to see her crush was the closest thing she had to a dream.]]

* Chapter 115: Ruri is lamenting that [[spoiler:she didn't smile in what would turn out to be the last photo she'd ever take with her grandfather.]] Then Shuu show's up and gives her a photo of her and her grandfather fishing, both of them with big smiles on their faces.

* Chapter 141: Proudly obnoxious and shamelessly perverted Shuu [[spoiler:gently but firmly rejects a girl who confesses to him, saying it would be unfair to her otherwise because he's still not over Kyouko-sensei]]. He even praises her for [[spoiler:being brave enough to confess]].

** At one point, Chitoge offered to buy drinks for them. Raku thinks that because he didn't say anything, Chitoge will buy him the usual tea when he's still in a soda phase (a few chapters back, Shuu didn't know he had such a phase). He was surprised when he got soda instead and Chitoge knows that he's still in his phase. This moment starts Raku's realization that [[spoiler:he fell in love with Chitoge]].
* When Shuu asks Raku to picture the girl that he'd like to experience the joys of life with, Raku ponders for a bit, searching through his thoughts while the audience sees that [[spoiler: both Chitoge ''and'' Onodera run through his mind as he thinks.]]
* Chitoge's dramatic hug to [[spoiler: Marika]] in Chapter 224, coming off of a friendly, supportive push from the latter disguised as a TheReasonYouSuckSpeech to Chitoge for backing away from her true feelings and desires in regards to pursuing romance with Raku.
* Chapter 225 and 226 have Onodera finally confess to Raku. The idea that his childhood crush actually liked him back ''floors'' him, and he bursts into tears. Though it's also a sad moment because [[spoiler: he's already chosen Chitoge in his mind]] and both he and Onodera full well know it.
** [[spoiler: Despite that, she tells him to go after her, and gives him her locket key. She saw that it wasn't going to work out, and [[IWantMyBelovedToBeHappy she took it like a champ.]]]]
* Chapter 227. [[spoiler: Raku finally confesses to Chitoge. Chitoge accepts.]]
* Shuu and Ruri's [[spoiler:Romantic development near the end of the series.]]
** [[spoiler:Ruri starts to develop feelings for Shuu during an incedent when they had to deal with a lost child. He notices a lot of small things about the little girl, keeping her happy while looking for her parents, seeing all the good sides to Shuu. By the time they reunite her with her parents, she admits to herself that "she fell for a problematic guy"]].
** [[spoiler:As sort of a breather to all the events in the final arc, Shuu and Ruri are by themselves looking for Chitoge. After discussing who should end up with Raku, Shuu admits that he still has feelings for Kyoko. Ruri, inspired by this and recent events, states that she needs to take a step forward in romance herself. Surprised by this, Shuu asks who the lucky guy she likes is. She then takes that moment to bluntly confess to Shuu, saying that he will wait for his feelings for Kyoko to pass. Shuu is genuinely surprised by this and his reaction causes a genuine smile from her.]]

That includes her name, her birthday (on the day the two met), Chitoges friendship, and basically everything that makes Tsugumi more than just a cold hearted assassin. After that it's easy to see where Tsugumi's UndyingLoyalty comes from.

** Exemplified even further in Episode 5 of the second season, this troper was emitting ManlyTears.

After that it's easy to see where Tsugumi's UndyingLoyalty comes from.

** A little bit before that has Ruri using a bunch of Shuu's photograph's of her and the gang, to show her grandfather that while she doesn't have a boyfriend she is far from alone.
*** Her grandfather stays quiet and a bit confused during Rumi's entire explanation but by the end of it, and when she concludes that she cherishes the friendships she has forged over the series, he has a big smile contrasting Rumi's BrokenTears.

* Throughout the entire Marika's Arranged Marriage Arc, Chitoge shows as much concern and dedication to rescuing Marika as Raku, while Marika gets a moment talking to Mikage where she reflects back on Chitoge with fondness. It goes to show that despite being outwardly hostile to each other, they are good friends. Chitoge even gives Marika some time alone with Raku at the end of the arc.
