Beware of spoilers, both marked and unmarked!

  • In chapter 4, with beginning of college life wasn't easy for Kouichi, on the first days he got a bit too comfortable and invited his new "friends" to his house, which later many people from university gosipped about how creepy he was, even if unintentionally. At the end of the chapter Kouichi mulls over the fact that he did not get the college life he was expecting. However, as he hangs their costumes over a line, Kouichi thinks that his life is not so bad with Knuckleduster and Pop☆Step around.
  • The interactions between Tensei and Kouichi, as it is a nice change of pace compared to the treatment Kouichi gets from other characters, including his teammates, chapter 7 is the first example of this.
  • In chapter 8, After Koichi explains that he had missed out on his chance to go out to a hero school because he had saved a girl who had fell into a river. He then gave the girl his Silver Age All Might hoodie (which is the only one he doesn't have amongst his collection). It is later shown that Kazuho/Pop Step was that girl, still has his hoodie and had actually been searching for him out of a sense of gratitude.
  • Souga and his friends were small-time but apparently irredeemable villains in their first appearance (would-be rapists, even). Their bad experiences with the Trigger drug, and Souga being saved from Stendahl by Kouichi, have however changed them for the better. Knuckleduster even trusts them enough to have them take care of his daughter Tamao.
  • After acting like a major Smug Super for a long time, Captain Celebrity has a truly heroic moment in saving the Little Sisters of the Lila Academy from an exploding taxi. Even Makoto lampshades it as the paparazzi clamors around to take his picture. Later, he saves thousands of people by single-handedly holding the Sky Egg while resisting a series of explosive attacks, until first Koichi then the rest of the Pro Heroes come to the rescue.
  • Most of chapter 58 is a wholesome closure to the previous arc; Captain Celebrity is given a nice send-off as he reunites with his family, reconciles with his wife, and returns to America.
  • Looking back at the whole of Vigilante, including the flashback arc, Midnight has often acted like an older sister to Aizawa: back in the U.A. days she knew how to cheer him up (pictures of cats, especially the one she adopted, did the trick) and was very supportive of him during their shared internship. It's implied that she is the one who re-established contact with Aizawa after they went Pro, and she also invites him to U.A. because of her conviction that he'd be a good teacher there.
  • As of chapter 66, Koichi is happier than he's ever been; he's satisfied with both being a small-time hero (more and more people in the neighborhood correctly identify him as The Crawler) and his studies as he starts looking for a job, and has a group of friends to trust. Also, the Hotta brothers and some former mutated villains (who weren't even evil to begin with but victims of experiments with Trigger) now work legally as they have opened a cafe together.
  • Chapter 75: Knuckle Duster's letter to Koichi, where he says he's sure Koichi will do the right thing no matter the situation he's in. When Soga asks if he's going to help Pop despite the personal and legal troubles he'll be in, Koichi says that's not even a question. Of course he's going to help her. Soga even smirks hearing that!
  • Chapter 119 showcases just how far Crawler's All-Loving Hero status goes. Despite having been seriously injured by Six's plasma giant form, his first thought at the sound of Six's roar was to go right back out again. His thoughts flashing back to previous incidents and how he couldn't help but move towards them to try and help anyone in need, the people rampaging included. Despite everything Six has done, Crawler is more than willing to risk his life for the villain's sake. The scene alternating between the battle and images of child versions of the two playfighting together with their hero toys to emphasize that, for Crawler, this isn't just about stopping Six from hurting anyone but ensuring that he's not alone in his darkest hour.
  • In Chapter 126, despite Skycrawler quickly getting Herowith Bad Publicity in NY due to mistranslation, he still manages to find a shopper selling All Might jackets, which Koichi naturally buys... and takes a picture with a few other bastanders. Just like in Naruhata, despite having his opponents, there will be still people who will be on his side.
