- We learned that during her time in Amphibia, Marcy had made some friends as a Night Guard. Javi, Kettle, and Femur start off not trusting her since their last captain went missing, but they begin to see her outstanding qualities as captain and open up more to her.
- Despite going against the kingdom and wanting a new life, Ernst wants to recruit his old teammates to be by his side as villains and live an easy life. While he still attacks them when they refuse, it still shows the friendship they formed in the past was real.
- Even though they went their separate ways, Marcy wished nothing but the best for her old team. Javi and Kettle end up together and move into a peaceful village, and Femur becomes a bard and lives with the animals. Marcy even gives him her old violin.
- When Anne couldn't sleep due to her stress over what happened to Marcy and Sasha, Sprig gave her some hot chocolate to calm her down.
- Learning the reason Sprig wants Mrs. Boonchuy to see him as a family is because he had longed to have a mother figure ever since his died when he was young, Mrs. Boonchuy made Sprig pancakes with bugs the next morning. Ever since, the two of them grew closer and even taught him how to sew for his hero costume.
- Anne remembers the time she met Marcy when they were three years old. Anne defended her sand castle from the ocean despite not understanding why she loves it (it was based on her favorite video game.) Even not understanding her passion didn't stop the two from becoming best friends.
- Who was there to welcome the Calamity Trio after their adventure in "The Hardest Thing"? Not only Anne's parents, but Sasha and Marcy's as well. With the latter running up to her parents, apologizing for running away and making them worried. Despite how strict they are for her studies and hobbies, this shows how much love they have for their daughter, even putting a hiatus on their move until they made sure she was okay.
- In the few weeks before Marcy moved, Anne and Sasha spent a lot of time with her, even playing her favorite board game and actually finishing it. Even though Anne and Sasha didn't have complete fun, Marcy was still touched they'd go through with it to actually pay attention to her interest and, in the future, want to do something all three can enjoy. When the day she has to move comes, the three of them hug each other and leave on good terms.
- When Marcy finds her journal 10 years later, she writes a new entry admitting she is considering moving back to California, and notes that Sasha has offered to let her stay with her as long as she needs to.
- At the end of the journal, Terri called the girls to reveal big news. As they were working with Mr. X to fix up the portal for scientific purpose, this might be the news, leaving fans hope that the trio will be reunited with their Amphibian friends and family once more. Heck, they might get that interdimensional road trip Marcy always dreamed.
