Zossie gets to have so much fun interacting with Pokémon and seeing the Alola region. She instantly becomes friends with Rowlet, giving the owl a hug while she spins around in delight.
Zossie: This is the greatest day of my LIFE! Wooo!

Gladion telling Robbie that in order for things to get better, he has to let go of the pain of seeing his parents' divorce. Robbie takes the words to heart and gives up the Master Brick.
The end of the chapter is a huge celebration for Gladion as he finally becomes a knight. And when he declares his quest to stop the Apex, the audience showers him with cheers and orange flowers.
The bonus story, A Raccoon in Paris has Sly Cooper returning from being stuck in Ancient Egypt via the Infinity Train. Everyone (minus Penelope) is there to see him home, including the Guru and the Panda King who were trying to follow his trail for a while. Dimitri is so flabbergasted he drops his jive-talk. The story ends with Murray giving his friend a hug and everyone following suite.

The 400 Rabbits Car

While in the Charcoal Car, Gladion tells Larkspur that he won't be alone to fight the Apex because he has her. Larkspur is stunned at these words, presumably the first kind thing she's heard in a long time.
Kisaragi was a really sweet rabbit when he freed Gladion from the casket he floated in. Unfortunately, this kind attitude and optimism faded immediately after the Apex arrived...
Captain Phyco believes Mallow's story about the Infinity Train and even brings up the myths and legends that the train gave him, giving Mallow relief that someone knows what she's talking about and even helps her deliver the message to Gladion and Tokio.
Throughout the entire situation with Tokio, Gladion, Specter and London are more worried about his safety and urge him to leave Kisaragi. Even when Tokio thinks it's his fault for what happened to Lampetia, London tells him otherwise and Specter even tries to extend a hand out to the boy.

The Windfish Car

Tokio gets a badly-needed boost in this chapter, gaining a Gale Boomerang that's entirely his own and getting support and encouragement from Lin and his friends.
- There is a moment of peace between the White Gestalt while on the island even if London's experience is being chased by Cuccoos. Both Gladion and Specter are shown laughing and being at peace, as short as it is.
Despite what Dulse assumes, Celesteela does recognize Sophocles as a friend and bids him farewell with a smile before she rockets home.
As Koholint fades, Tarin looks outside to see his daughter Marin, who transformed into a seagull, fly off with a fatherly smile, knowing that he'll return when the Windfish slumbers again.
When Specter shows off Lampetia's heart to explain how urgent it is to meet Lin, Tarin mistakes it as Specter wanting to pawn it off to the shopkeeper, prompting Easter to shout that Specter doses not want to part with it. Say what you will about Easter, but they respect Specter's wishes to protect Lampetia until she recovers.

The Desert Racetrack Car

Ryoken's concern for Specter's whereabouts that he's asking his enemy for any whereabouts.
- In turn, Specter actually requested help from Yusaku, Takeru and Aoi about the Ignis and the idea that if things were different, he could've had a bond with Earth.

When Specter is giving his breaking speech to Mad Ben, Mad Ben retorts that Specter is a dog begging for scraps. Specter takes it in stride, stating that he is a dog, forever loyal to his master which shows how much he cares for Ryoken in turn.
London calls the jeep "The Kendrick" after his old wrestling partner, Brian Kendrick.
After the jeers from everyone looking down on their jeep and nearly losing their lives to Mad Ben in the fight a chapter ago, Lin leads the audience to chant the White Gestalt's name after they tied with Mad Ben.
- In a brief moment, Specter actually lets go of his animosity with London to help dust off sand over the wrestler's suit.
After Viren is defeated, Kiawe's mother prepares ice cream for a celebration. Dulse softens up as he eats his ice cream while staring at the Alolan sky.

The Ghoul School Car

Mallow is happy to see her brother, Ulu, return in a deep contrast to Lillie thinking that Mallow would berate him for just leaving.
Zossie getting her Pokémon partner, an Alolan Raichu, is just filled with this.
- After she failed the first time to capture it, the Raichu flies to the second ball and allows himself to be captured.
- Zossie immediately names her new friend Pancakes.
- Dulse and Phyco express how proud they are of Zossie getting a partner of her own.
- And last, when Zossie reveals to Pancakes about her "skin condition", he just hands her a plate of pancakes to feed her.
Imhotep, Tanis's father, tells Tokio he's quite proud to hear that his daughter has an idol to look up to.
