• Chiyo's old friend Aoi comes over to check on her and insists that she should feel free to ask her friends for help when she's down.
• When a former classmate starts talking about how everyone knew that Hara, the Landlady, dated girls in high school, Chiyo can see that it's making the Landlady uncomfortable, so she takes her hand and runs off with her.
• The Landlady takes care of Chiyo when she's down with a cold.
• Chiyo offers to have sex again with Ritsuka, but finds she can't go through with it. Not, as Ritsuka initially assumes, because she's of Incompatible Orientation, but because she can't offer it as a "service" when she's genuinely in love with Ritsuka.
• The details of the Forgotten First Meeting. A drunken Chiyo thought Ritsuka was about to commit suicide by jumping off a bridge, and Chiyo tackled her to the ground, thinking she was saving her life. And when Ritsuka tells her she's a lesbian to try and drive her off, Chiyo, still thinking her suicidal, tries to offer Sex for Solace.
• Chapter 19. Not only does Chiyo finally get a job she wants, but she and Ritsuka get their Relationship Upgrade.
• The author's notes at the end of the series reveal that Chiyo eventually leaves the workforce to go independent so she can better match her schedule to Ritsuka's, thereby avoiding the problems that resulted in the end of Setouchi's marriage.
