  • Hades is clearly worried about the other members of his House, and orders Chronos not to hurt them.
  • In a flashback, a young Melinoë is seen playing hide-and-seek with Hecate.
  • Hecate and Melinoë's relationship is very loving, with the goddess of witchcraft consistently raising her student, whilst the princess gives her teacher the utmost respect.
  • Frinos is an adorable frog whom Melinoë took in as her pet and familiar when she was younger. The Narrator comments on this:
The dark Princess reveals her deepest fears to a stoic old amphibian, which long ago hopped into her tent, and into her heart.
  • All the gods you met in the previous game speak highly of Mel's brother Zagreus, saying he was a determined, kind man and that they all miss their interaction with him. Poseidon and Demeter still remember the affectionate nicknames they gave him, "Little Hades" and "Young Sprout" respectively.
  • Moros tells Mel that the Fates sent him to receive the fated list of minor prophecies during a time that Cronos would be away from the house of Hades, more specifically during the time that Cronos went after the Fates themselves. Considering that it's the List of (mostly) MINOR prophecies, it leads one to wonder if they were simply getting him out of the line of fire.
  • Once the Infernal Beast is defeated and purified, it's revealed to be Cerberus who was corrupted by Chronos. The second he's freed, he runs off and is revealed to have reunited with his master Hades. Even when stripped of everything, the God of the Dead still has his beloved guard dog by his side.
  • Hades telling Melinoë that Persephone was happy at her birth, as the couple decided to try for a second child. The unfinished painting of Zagreus, Persephone, and Hades looking over baby Melinoë shows how much they welcomed her birth.
  • Slowly over time, Eris will start to warm up to Melinoë and certain conversations will reveal her Hidden Depths and will actually take the latter's advice into consideration.
  • Sisyphus let Hades stay in his spot in Tartarus and left him with Bouldy so the God of the Dead could have some form of company. For his part, Hades sounds truly grateful for this small act of kindness when he recounts it to Melinoë.
Hades: I forced the wretch to heave that boulder up that path forever. He forgave me anyway.
  • Despite most of the Shades in Tartarus having turned traitor, a few Shades are seen in Hades' cell, paying respect to their former Master.
  • Melinoë's interactions with Arachne in Erebus, with the lonely mortal-turned-spider developing quite the crush on the princess of the underworld.
  • The time Mel spends with her various allies in the hot springs is very friendly and sweet.
    • Her and Nemesis recount their younger years training together, in particular how one time Melinoë beat her with a surprise tactic. That defeat motivated Nem to train even harder from then on.
    • Eris is uncomfortable being in the springs and asks to get out very early. Mel politely denies her and tells her to just relax.
